The Unexpected Everything was such a good book! I Loved this book from the very beginning.
In this book there is a girl named Andie Walker. Andie has her whole summer planned out, her internship before senior year for college, her not being home. That is until her dad gets caught in a scandal with the government and he has to stay home while they investigate. The beginning of the day she leaves. Andie gets a call saying she can’t go for her summer internship. As soon as Andie finds that out she races over to the doctor's house that was to be teaching her over the summer, except he wasn’t home. So Andie
has started realizing that her whole summer is ruined. One day she finds a job as a       dog walker, and starts to pick up a dog from her old house before she moved after her mom died. She meets Clark. She meets Clark and starts falling in love with him every day that she goes to pick up Bertie. The next thing she knows she’s going out on her first date with Clark. Her first date was a mess. Andie made a deal that she only spends 2-3 weeks dating a guy unless he’s less interesting than 1 week only. But something was different about Clark, she was really falling in love with him and her friends Toby, Bri, and Palmer, noticed too. While Andie was busy going on her date again to make up for how bad the first one was her friends Toby spent her summer chasing a guy named Wyatt, except he didn’t like her, he liked Bri. Palmer does a scavenger hunt every year with her friends just like her family does, but this year the teams were: Andie, Toby, and Bri, Wyatt, and Clark, Tom. When it was over everyone showed up but Bri and Wyatt.
That's when people got worried, but they finally showed up 2 hours later and claimed that his car broke down, when really there were kissing each other, because they started dating behind Toby’s back.
One day Andie went to drop of Bri’s cat and caught Wyatt and Bri kissing each other, that’s when her and Bri decided to not tell anyone. Later that day at the movies Toby took Bri’s phone because her’s died and found texts from Bri to Wyatt about how much they like each other. After that their friendship in the group wasn’t never the same, even how much they tried to make up. Andie finally got back together with Clark when she ran to his book signing and kissed him and they made up (Clark was an author). The end of the book ended with Clark running his fingers through Andie’s hair when they made up in the bookstore.
I loved this book so much! I can’t explain how much I loved it. Morgan Matson is my favorite contemporary writer, and she’s my writing inspiration. “If whole Galaxy’s can change, so can I.” -TUE Morgan Matson
